Scoot a Que!

Scooter riding brings a big grin to my face(well till a couple dozen miles pass and I settle down a bit)...toys for big kids. This weekend is Scoot a Que-major scooter rally in Columbus, we will ride over to Granville, a gorgeous town that is reminiscent of a small town in Vermont. I wish we could retire there, or somewhere like it that is warmer in the winter....should be fun:)

School

Fall always seems to be about school. The kids are going back, I am going back...gotta buy more #2 pencils and sharpen them...and why don't they come that way? I had to sit and sharpen two dozen before my son started school, the school required them to be pre-sharpened! A first...

Me Widdle Brudder

My brother has an interesting sport...Highland Games! He flips poles(caber toss)throws hammers and weights and rocks...kind of like, what would a Scotsman do if he has a temper tantrum, they invent sports where you throw heavy objects!

I have a wonderful Vespa, I thought I would ride a lot this summer, but instead, it's mostly sat in the garage. I had all these great plans for doing things with my kids too, but mostly stayed at home and goofed off. I feel like most of the summer was wasted this time around. Next year, I will definitely do better. The lesson learned is don't put things off, don't say tomorrow, just do it like the man said!
